Initial Review, 100 Miles on Tires My car came with Goodyear Eagle LS-2 tires. After 5K, I started to feel this tire was hydroplaning in rain which did not give me much confidence as we are going into winter. I just put on the Michelin Defender on December 1st. On the way home, Mother nature gave some light rain as a test. The Michelin Defenders held the road like glue. They are much quieter than the GY's and the ride is better. So far, I feel these Michelin's are a major improvement. This is also my first experience at owning Michelins and so far, its a good experience.
