Initial Review: 2,000 miles on tires

Our Sienna hasn't been wearing these Defenders long, but they are an improvement over the off-brand tires we had previously (unmatched set). Quiet on highway and good wet traction. Fuel mileage marginally better so far. HOWEVER, we had a warranty claim within the first 1,000 miles when one tire blew out the sidewall. The opening was jagged, which indicates it was not cut. Dealer was good about replacement, though we paid the install. This kind of thing shakes your confidence in the product. All our vehicles wear Michelins, though I'm wondering if I should have bought the orange-oil Yokohamas.
