Initial Review, 1,500 Miles on Tires Put these tires on before a trip from San Jose to San Diego. My initial impression is that they are great tires and a great bargain. Very comfortable and quiet on the freeway and handled nicely on the curvy mountain roads. Considerably better on those respects than the Goodyear Integrity tires that were on the SUV when I bought it. The tires felt very planted and gave me a lot of confidence going through a dangerous stretch of road known as Pacheco Pass. I don't keep detailed mileage records, but I got 21 mpg going 75-80 mph for most of the trip. I was afraid of a drop off in gas mileage, but I normally don't get 20 mpg on my long trips.
