Initial Review, 55,000 Miles on Tires
These came as factory equipment on our 2010 Santa Fe, and I would not buy them again. I wouldn't go as far as to say they are poor, but I think there is better out there (and likely at a cost). If you're looking for a tire that is affordable and quiet, these will accomplish the task nicely. It looks as though we will get about 65-70,000 Kms out of ours which isn't bad, wet-weather traction is acceptable but grip is all but gone as soon as the temperature drops below 0. This is common on all-season tires, but I have used better-performing all-seasons in the past. On the plus side these Kumho's are quiet on the road and offer limited but acceptable grip during cornering/acceleration. We aren't hard drivers in our family vehicle - I'm sure if these were on my Mazda hatchback I would have more complaints about limited grip.
