Kumho Road Venture SAT KL61
Follow-Up Review: 32,000 miles on tires
So these are about to be replaced. Worn almost to the cords. Good tires mostly but didn't last too long. Might try some Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo 2
Initial Review: 12,000 miles on tires
Bought these for my wife's SUV. This truck is both the family truckster but also gets used for camping and x-mas tree and firewood expeditions off road. It tows modest loads as well.
The factory tires were long wearing but had ZERO off-road or snow traction and here in the edge of the Sierras that was not cool. Forget what they were but highway city folk tires for sure.
So I bought these last fall (2011) for above mentioned reasons and have been super pleased with them. Not sure how long they'll wear but pretty good so far. Very pleased with the all around performance, the off-road+snow is great. Noise isn't whisper quiet but not bad tradeoff for their ability and tread pattern.
