Initial Review, 6,000 Miles on Tires I bought this tire to replace a set of Michelin's. I didn't think anybody could build a tire better than the Michelin's but I was wrong. Saw the reviews and thought I'd give them a shot, having had some good experience runnin a set of Kumho's on my wife's SUV several years back. Well, not only do these have as good or better traction, they are much quieter and have a better ride than the Michelin's. I've run them in everything from mud and rain to light snow, with excellent results. These are really great looking tires too, and have gotten a lot of attention from Tacoma enthusiasts. They show almost no tread wear after over 6,000 miles so I'm reasonably sure that with care I can get 50K or better mileage on the set. These tires are an excellent buy and I'll definitely be replacing the Continentals on my wife's Acura SUV when it comes time to get new tires.
