Initial Review, 20,000 Miles on Tires Good tire. Was my daily commuter while I was in college. High performance all season is a pretty good description of this tire. I had some Z rated (forget which brand) summer tires before that definitely had more grip in the summer, and some monster Nokian snow tires that definitely had more grip in the winter. But I ended up replacing these with the Kumho's. The Kumho's are very quiet (so surprisingly was the Saab). In Rochester, it wasn't uncommon to have 8-12" of standing, unplowed snow in the roads after a heavy storm. Can you believe I got through that with these tires? I'll honestly say I've never got stuck with these. Summer performance was surprisingly decent too. There was slightly more squish to these than the Z's I was using before, but not much difference. When you buy an all season, you know you're buying a compromise. I've driven through 8" of standing snow with these and have been pleased with summer performance, I think that's a pretty good compromise.
