Follow-Up Review: 11,500 miles on tires
After 9 months of driving I have 11,500 miles on my Kumho tires. They still provide excellent performance and ride comfort, but they are wearing very quickly. I just rotated my tires for the first time, and the front tires may already be 40% worn (at least very even wear across the tread). My car does not weigh much, about 2900 pounds, so that is not an contributing issue. My original tires had 56,000 on them before I replaced them, and they still had some wear left in them. Fortunately, the Kumhos came with a 40,000 mile warrantee. Unfortunately, I may have to use it within a couple of years..
Initial Review: 1,000 miles on tires
I bought the Kumho tires 5 weeks ago to replace original equipment Bridgestones. The difference in road noise and ride comfort was like evolving from primative Flinstone stone tires to a modern Jetson smooth ride. Handling characteristics on dry and wet roads are excellent. Sorry, I can not comment on ice and snow as I live in SW Florida. I will so definately buy these tires again, in fact I will be ordering the same type tires next week for my MINI Cooper S.
