Kumho Ecsta 4X
Initial Review: 15,000 miles on tires
October 28, 2012

Upgraded from stock Pirelli P6 Four Seasons 17 inch to Kumho's on 18 inch wheels. Cornering tightness was the first thing that I noticed. Steering response is more responsive and the overall right felt more sporty. The lower series and the increase in wheel diameter probably also contributed. Driving in the rain is not an issue and have not had any issues with hydroplaning. The first day I drove on these tires and I sliced the sidewall on my front tire from a pot hole. This came with roadside hazard so Tirerack replaced my tire without any questions. Still debating on having designated winter tires put on my old wheels but may try out the Kumho's in the snow and see how it handles.
