Initial Review, 5,000 Miles on Tires I bought a set of these in Dec. 2011 based on TireRack reviews. But I had my doubts because many of the reviewers hadn't put many miles on them. All new tires seem good when you first get them. It takes time to see if they last. After six months (est. 5,000 miles) of driving on these, I'm impressed. I would buy them again. In the decade I've had my car, I've run Michelins, Falkens, Sumitomos, and finally Kumhos. I was very disappointed in Falken and Sumitomo. The Kumhos compare well to the expensive Michelins I once had, but cost almost half as much. My ride got noticeably quieter switching from the Sumitomos to the Kumhos. I am not a tire expert, but I am very happy with these tires. They show no signs of wear yet and the ride is still good. Good luck with your decision.
