Initial Review, 2,500 Miles on Tires These tires are QUIET. Being on such a small car, and sitting practically on top of the back wheels, I had given up on trying to have a conversation when driving at highway speeds. The original's lasted around 25K and the Yokohamas I got to replace them lasted 27k. The original tire was loud so I thought until I replaced them. It was almost unbearable the noisiness that I had to endure for the next 2.5 years. The Kumhos float down the highway now. It feels a little softer, but with the suspension package I have it feels more like the car I test drove. Also, with my driving and checking mileage at ever fillup with the calculator and with the scanguage obd reader on a daily basis, I have gone for a solid 30 mpg to a 31.7 in these last 2500 miles.
