Initial Review, 100 Miles on Tires I race ES (auto cross) in a mazda miata. I'm usually on summer tires when I race and I'm consistently running behind my main competitor by a few tenths of a second. Once I finally mounted these tires (14x6 stock miata wheels), I beat him by 4 seconds. I ended up running times better than most of the street prep and street touring classes. I'm usually fighting lateral sliding and I have to be careful with locking my old tires. But once I put these on I had no traction issues and My braking distance significantly decreased.
