Initial Review, 46,000 Miles on Tires Very dissapointed. My wifes van has Optimo 727s that wear and preform great and I was expecting the same. Not so. I do all highway miles and regularly get 70k to 80k miles from tires. Within 4k miles the edges started to cut. These are unidirectional tires so they could only ratate from front to back. Dealer rebalanced twice, but tires were still loud and edges continued to wear. At 20k miles, after dealer said the tires were shot and offered zero help, I had the tires remounted on the opposite sides and balanced again. They are still loud, back right is thumping.
