Follow-Up Review: 6,000 miles on tires
After about 6000 miles on these tires, I'm not as happy as I originally was. Unfortunately, the noise level has increased and driving on moderately wet roads feels almost unsafe. When brand new, these tires felt awesome but shortly after, they have made a big 180. When turning sharp on dry roads, i feel the tires are way too soft and almost feel like I'm turning on flat tires. My front left tire feels like there is a wobble to it now. I drive my car but not to the point where they should feel like this. It rained for about 5 minutes today while i was driving and i was driving straight and punch it on the gas and the tires had no traction at all. Pretty sad but I guess I learned my lesson on these tires. Too bad as they were great when brand new but what can you expect I guess? Only 6000 in and considering new tires already for next year. Next time around I'll get something with a better warranty for treadlife.
Initial Review: 700 miles on tires
Bought this for my G35 Coupe because of the noise that my Potenza's were making at low speeds. If you own a g35 and are getting noise at around 10-15km/h then it's your front tires that need replacing and not the brakes. Replaced all four tires with these and loving my purchase! My girlfriend says the car feels like it's brand new because of how smooth the car drives. Very low road noise to the point where you barely hear anything. Great price and great purchase! Cost me $114+tax from the goodyear installer that was prefered in my area. Day after these were installed I went on a long road trip in the pouring rain and I never once felt in any danger and I had full control on my car at over 130km/h. I'm in Canada but had these bad boys put on in the US. All in all, I am very satisfied and would buy these all over again! My overall tirerack experience was awesome! I can't comment on the tread wear because I've only had them for about 1000km so far.
