	Initial Review, 8,000 Miles on Tires August 15, 2012 Porsche 993's are notorious for rear tire wear. I have a conservative street alignment, and got 11K miles out of my first set of Hankooks on the rear. These tires replaced a set of Michelin Pilot Sports. A full set of four Hankooks, cost as much as a pair of rear Michelins. For street use, and the occasional auto-x, Hankooks are the best IMHO. Great wet and dry weather performance, very low road noise, and the car rides smooth. Ride quality is certainly a very subjective thing naturally, afterall...my 993 is lowered, and has adjustable sways and a strut brace. That being said, it rides better than my wife's 2012 Mini Countryman S ALL4..thos e---- runflats you know.
