Hankook Ventus AS RH07
Follow-Up Review: 9,000 miles on tires
Update after approx 9000 miles:<br>The noise level is certainly more than before. So much so that I am inclined to look for a replacement. I have still not had the chance of driving in snow/ice but that is a non-issue for me because of the noise. Even though the ride continues to be cushier as mentioned before, the excessive noise is causing excessive vibration inside the cabin (despite Infinity FX35 being a VERY solid car inside the cabin with fantastic noise dampening). These tires are out of here and over all I give it a thumbs down.
Initial Review: 1,500 miles on tires
I am writing this reveiw after driving for about 1500 miles of this set of Hankooks. The first thing noticeable is that the ride for FX35 became a lot cushier than before, which in itself is a good thing because FX35 does have a harsh ride to bein with. So I do not mind that. The wet traction is also reasonably good. I have not yet tested it in snow so I cannot say anythig about it.
However the noise level with these tires is loud to very loud depending on the speed at which I am driving at any time. I have noticed that around 37-40 MPH and then around 58-60MPH the noise level is unbearably loud. Its sort of pulsating, humming noise, very loud. I am not sure if this is due to my particular set of tires of other buyers have also experienced it too. I will surely be contacting the customer service for a remedy to this. I will also keep updating this reveiew as I drive more with these tires.
