Initial Review, 15,000 Miles on Tires I researched these tires extensively before buying. I had two brand new Toyota cars that had to have the tires replaced around 18k...had the popular name brand tires and was very disappointed in the life of the tires. So I thought I would go for a tire with the best ratings. I never heard of Hankook before and was a little skeptical...b/c they were a lot less expensive than other brands but had great ratings and a 100k mile warranty...of which none of the popular brands had. To my pleasant surprise...these tires are fantastic!! After 15k mi they still look brand new! No wonder they have a 100k warranty!!! We had a light winter this year, but in Oct we had 18" of snow...and I had to drive in it....the tires had no problem cutting through the snow.
