Initial Review: 26,000 miles on tires

Put these on about a year and a half ago; great tires while they were on (quiet and pretty grippy) but after about 26,000 miles the tread was down to 3/32. I got them replaced for the prorated warranty amount, but had to pay for installation of the new tires and chose to get the road hazard warranty which worked out to pretty much the same amount that I got back from the warranty (120 for install + warranty, 132 back on the cost of the tires).

As far as traction in snow, I drove in some light snow and they were OK, but not very good (comparing them to the 4 sets of other tires that were all about the same price). I have an under powered car and there was some slipping under acceleration, even light acceleration.

They wore evenly; I rotated according to my vehicle manufacturer's specifications (10K) and kept them inflated WARM at 40-42 PSI. Most of my suspension is pretty new. I corner briskly but am otherwise not an aggressive driver.

Would not buy again, but tread life is really important to me.
