Initial Review, 1,400 Miles on Tires I previously had Goodyear Tripletreds on this car and they were not well suited to it. They made it ride harshly and were noisy. They did have good traction in the rain and snow. The Hankook H418 are much quieter and softer riding which is exactly what I wanted for this car. The sidewalls are fairly thin on these which make it not corner real well, but could care less about that, it is a commuter car. They are acceptable in the snow and ice, I was able to get around this winter with no problems. Overall, I would recommend the Hankooks for a smooth ride and quietness.
