Initial Review, 50,000 Miles on Tires Although I rated this tire only slightly above average in many categories, I think it is somewhat misleading. It is an all-terrain tire driven mostly highway/city. Section width was also upsized by the previous vehicle owner from 265 to 285. I think this combination caused the vehicle to hydroplane and lose wet traction more than it should have. The greater section width did great on sand and beach - with good traction - but on the highway in rainy florida it didn't handle standing water all that well at wet traction around curves made me nervous a few times with vsc kicking on. Still - all things being equal - I really loved the tire. I loved the aggressive tread. The tread held up really well. Bought the vehicle with 65,000 miles on it - no idea how long the tires had been there but 1 tire was brand new (why only 1 I don't know) and the rest had been on the vehicle for at least 10,000 miles or more (you could tell by looking). I've since put 40,000 miles on the vehicle and the treads are now at the 2/32 mark thus I estimate a 50,000 to 60,000 mile tread. The 1 new tire has at least 6/32 left. I'd bet at least another 15,000 miles on it putting it at about 55,000 Read All Reviews for This Tire | Write a Review for This Tire | ||||
