Initial Review, 66,000 Miles on Tires
I bought a new 2011 Silverado 2500HD Duramax 4x4 with stock 20" wheels and these tires came standard. I rotated approximately every 10,000 miles and the tires performed very well. I live in Northern Wisconsin so we deal with heavy snow at times and the tires did very well. The impressive part for me was the wear. I was selected to try Nitto Terra Grappler tires and had these tires removed with 66,000 miles on them. There was still plenty of wear left and they all wore very evenly. The tires were quiet on the road and handled dry conditions very well. I have had BFG All Terrains on similar diesel (heavy) trucks and the Goodyears wore much better. The deep snow performance could have been slightly better, but I never felt unsafe. I would not hesitate to buy these tires again...especially at the price!
