Goodyear Ultra Grip Winter
Initial Review: 200 miles on tires
December 16, 2013

I have only had these tires on my 2011 Chevy Cruze for 200 miles, but it's been in dry, wet, and snow. They are a bit louder than the standard tires, which is to be expected. They totally transform winter handling in the Cruze. I have to work VERY hard to get the traction control to kick on with these tires on - I simply have grip. I am able to come to a stop in 8 inches of snow on teh road, and start up again with no problem. Handling in the snow is fantastic. I made an effort to put the car sideways in an un-plowed parking lot, at speeds up to about 15mph - couldn't do it. At least initially, I'm VERY happy with these tires. To be clear, I bought wheels and TPMS sensors as well, so I have the factory alloys for sping/summer/fall, and these snows on a set of steelies for winter.
