Initial Review, 20,000 Miles on Tires When I bought the my Honda Pilot new I replaced the OEM tires with Geolanders thinking I was doing the right thing. For the next 40,000 miles I thought Honda made a lousy AWD system. Terrible traction in snow. And got the daylights scared out of me coming down an icy logging road. So I researched replacements when they wore out. Bought a set of Fortera TripleTreds. First drive on the way home from the tire dealer I was stunned at the improved handling. Way more precise. Snow and ice traction has been great. On the downside, I suspect they are costing me some gas mileage, but can't be sure. No idea yet if I can expect long tread life. Overall, a very good tire.
