Initial Review, 3,000 Miles on Tires Having lived in Germany for 20 years, I am very accustomed to asymmetric high speed rated tires. The drivinghandling characteristics of the Goodyear Eagle GT are very comparable to summer tires costing twice as much, for example Conti SportContant 2. I would have no fears with driving these Eagle GTs at 140 mph all day long in Germany. Of course, maybe here in the States I will get more mileage out of them compared to taking all those +100mph cornering with a set of Contis.
