consumer surveys. Information shown is the opinion of the consumer and meant to be used for comparison
Vehicle: 2011 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Coupe
Miles Driven on Tires: 2,600
Location: VICTORIA, BC
Driving Condition: Combined Highway/City
Driving Style: Spirited
Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar G: 2
Follow-Up Review: 4,000 miles on tires
Wet breakaway is noticeable in the rear on acceleration in a corner- a little scary but manageable. Not a confidence builder I am affraid. If these tires were designed especically for the Shelby as Ford says - then they may also have been designed for drivers in Texas alone - no rain ;-)
Initial Review: 2,600 miles on tires
On the dry and when they are warmed well they are excellent. NOTE: tire pressure is very important with these - don't rely on a cheap tire gauge. When the correct tire pressure was used the handling improved measurably (3 lbs to hard not good).
Steering response is the best I have ever experienced and would imagine these tires shine on the track as I have not been able to find my personal limits which on my favorite twisties - I have many times with previous tires on different cars.
In the wet I have not found a comfort level yet and will do a follow up after I do ..
