Initial Review, 21,780 Miles on Tires I replaced my Yokohama AVID S34D tires with these Goodyear ComforTred Touring tires and I couldn't be happier. They are nice and quiet and handle very well in all conditions. I have driven my car in about 6-7" of snow and it handled better than my older car with snow tires on(granted this is a Subaru and my other car is a Pontiac). My only complaint is that my I am down to 8/32" meaning that I only have 6/32" of useful tread remaining. By my calculations I will be down to 2/32" at about 59,000 miles. 59K on a 70K tire is not horrible but it is less than I was expecting. I run Michelin Hydroedges on all my other cars and I usually get about 100-115K miles out of a 90K tire so I guess I may be spoiled. Goodyear has come along way since the days of the Eagle LS where you'd expect 20K miles out of a 40K tire but they are still lagging behind Michelin in terms of longevity. Seeing how the Hydroedge is much louder and not available for my Subaru I will likely be running ComforTreds for the life of the car.
