Initial Review, 30,000 Miles on Tires I chose this tire because of the fairly low price, and mostly positive reviews. For the first 20,000 miles or so, I was very happy with them. Fine on dry and wet roads, and much better in snow than the OE Goodyear Integrities. Over time though, they wore much faster than the wear out rating would suggest, and they have developed that "thumping" sound I have read about in many of the less favorable reviews. At last alignment, I was told "the belts have shifted," thus making a perfect alignment impossible. It appears that there is a defect in the manufacturing of this particular tire, and I'm not sure how they are still sold. I will gladly pay extra next time for Michelin LTX M&S.
