Initial Review, 40,000 Miles on Tires

Great set of rubber for the money. I got these tires about 2 years ago in late August 2010 and they have been great. They don't have an option past spirited driving style but I would say I drive harder then spirited. Without regards to my front alignment being off these tires wore great. They do need to be rotated though, as I read many reviews that put the tire down I think did these people properly rotate the tires? Well I did and it shows I got over 40,000 miles out of my tires and the rears still have about 20-30% tread left on them.

Of course my vehicle a V6 Grand Cherokee is full time AWD and does not have gobs of power so being able to spin the tires in the dry and wet is few and far between. They do loose some grip after about 30,000 miles but If you can understand that a tire wears you can compensate for that. I don't expect a tire to be perfect but for the money the Grabber is a good all around tire.

Winter driving in 2010 was great for what these are. Basically an All-Season SUV tire if you don't expect snow tire performance from them they are great. Yes they do loose a little traction but I've never been stranded and they preform up to my expectations.

Coming from some old crappy Goodyear tires these grabbers were way less noisy. Yes, when they wear down they make a little bit more noise but that's normal.

Overall a great buy, with proper rotation, proper air pressure, and a good aligned veichle I can easily see these tires lasting over 60,000 miles. I stand behind this statement because my pops has them on his SUV and they have worn very well. I urge people who read the reviews to throw the bias out the window and take into account someones review that might come off negative and realize they possibly didn't follow procure or had a poorly aligned vehicle and didn't maintain air pressure or rotate.
