General Grabber AT 2
Initial Review: 10,000 miles on tires
September 17, 2012

I've got full set of this tire to replace original Continental 4X4 Contact. The original tires did not even lasted 25.000 and had to be replaced because of extensive wear. The General tires are fantastic. They look tough and I've got a lot of compliments on look of the car with these tires. The protector is really deep. Once I caught the nail, and because of the depth of protector I just pull it out. It did not penetrate the tire and it did not need any repair. The traction on dry pavement as good as on wet road. The handling on snow is superb and even deep dirt is not a problem. The wear after 10.000 is very acceptable and looks like tire will last for long time. I will definitely buy them again. The only complain is the road noise. I actually gets better when speed is high. Speed 30-40 mph is when it noticeable the most. But this is minor issue compare to huge advantages of these tires. Price was very reasonable. It's too bad it went up almost $16 a piece since I bought it. Anyway I'm really happy with General brand and this model.
