Follow-Up Review: 15,000 miles on tires
September 09, 2013
These are off the car, they will be used in burnout contests. They caused damage to both the car and to my wallet. Now riding on USED Nitto 420 that have 45,000 miles on them and are smooth and do NOT shake. I attempted to balance the Gmax tires 5 times including purchasing a fifth tire to see if there was any way to use these. There is not.

Good day.
Initial Review: 10,000 miles on tires
December 23, 2011

10000 miles on them and four tries at getting rid of the incessant thump at 65 to 75 mph, My car has 265,000 miles. I have had 8 sets of four tires ALL BOUGHT THROUGH TIRE RACK!!! I have never and I mean NEVER had an issue with Tire rack, and still don't. I conceded, it may be the car so I changed the prop shafts ($600 they had 90,000 miles and some wear), no change in the Thump, Thump, Thump. Ok maybe the one U-joint or the carrier bearing, swapped them (I ALWAYS use OEM, no cheap parts as this is my track car as well and the thought of a cheap knock off part letting go in a corner at 100mph makes me ill). No change. Its the tires, no doubt in my mind.

I envy the folks that got smooth quiet ones, but it seems like a crap shoot that is not worth taking.
