Initial Review: 7,000 miles on tires

When my wheels got stolen I needed a nother set of wheels and tires. So I came here to TireRack and purchased a set of 18 OZ Alleggerita HLT wheels and they recomended these tires. I wanted a fair priced tire that did what I needed it to for daily driving but was more performance orientated. I wasn't disappointed in the least bit. They have fantastic grip for an all season, actualy they feel more like my other set of UHP summer only tires. Steering response is good, and the ride is acceptable for a 225/45/18 tire. The noise was noticable at first then they quited down after about 1000-2000 miles. For there class you will be hard pressed to find a better tire with out spending alot more. If you want ultimate grip go summer only UHP tires, but if you plan on using the tires in snow this is the ticket.
