I bought these tires as 3-season tires for my Protege5, since I have a set of winter tires for it as well. I was going to buy summer-only tires, but was disappointed in what I read about wet weather performance and treadwear for those. So, I decided to get these high performance all-seasons instead, and I am not dissapointed in them at all. These are probably the best set of tires I've ever owned, regardless of price. They handle really well in both wet and dry and do an excellent job of evacuating water from under the tread to prevent hydroplaning. My only gripe so far is a small one: they do make a noticeable noise while driving, but it's not annoying. I'd definitely recommend anyone consider these tires for high-performance driving with wet weather performance.
