General G-MAX AS-03
Initial Review: 14,000 miles on tires
July 17, 2012

This car sees everything from commuting in traffic to light off-road. My previous tires were Continential extremecontact dws. When it was time for new rubber, I decided to go with a different size on the factory wheels. Oem 205/55r16, went with 225/55r16. The tires grip well in both wet and dry. They also communicate great at traction limits and react predictably when those limits are past. I haven't driven with them in snow yet, but have gotten through some sticky mud multiple times. These tires have done everything I've asked of them great. After 14,000 miles, tread depth is about 70-75% remaining. That's much better then most tires I've had. These tires seem to have the pefect blend of performance, durability, and price. I will buy these again and highly recommend them. A few of my friends have since put them on their cars. (06 subaru legacy awd 2.5 gt turbo 400whp, and stock 11 chevy camaro ss) They both think the same about them as I do.
