Initial Review, 8,500 Miles on Tires
April 18, 2012

These tires are fantastic for a sports car that is driven regularly or for long distances. They certainly don't have the dry traction level of a dedicated summer tire, but for spirited country driving are way more than adequate. Another plus is that they communicate well when they are reaching their traction limit with progressive breakaway, and regain traction fairly easily. Their wet-weather traction is probably the most impressive part, with traction that feels very close to what is available in the dry. I have had them in the snow once, and did well considering that a Corvette is hardly a proper vehicle for driving on snowy roads. All things considered, I will almost definitely by another set of these when my current set are finished.

Follow-Up Review, 20000 Miles on Tires
July 01, 2012

Another 12k miles, and I still like these tires. The change that I'd like to see is a slightly stiffer carcass, as the rears are wearing out the center even though I keep 30psi in them religiously. I don't want to run them much lower than 30 because they become extremely floppy at low pressure. Rain traction is still great, and dry traction is what I would expect out of a UHP A/S tire. Snow traction even with 275s and RWD is good enough to get you home, but I'm sure these tires will be better in skinnier sizes with FWD. I expect to have to replace the rears somewhere around 30k miles, and the fronts will probably last closer to 60k before needing replaced. Also, the alignment indicators on the tires when new are very handy. Found out I had a bad tie-rod end when the inner markers wore off first.
