General G-MAX AS-03
Initial Review: 3,000 miles on tires

I had a set of General Altimax HP's on my previous car and they were the best tire ive ever owned. I decided to go with General's again for the G8 because the price was competitive and I needed something high performance that would also work in Vermont winters. So far the tires are decent. I havent had any issues in light snow (up to 4 inches) however I dont think these tires would fare very well in 6+ inches in a RWD set up, so if youre not a confident winter driver id suggest purchasing some dedicated winter tires. Grip and handling are both very good. As with my last Generals, wet traction is phenominal. I would suggest this tire for someone who wants a good all around perfomance A/S tire , but is willing to give up a little bit of performance to a dedicated summer tire to save some money.
