General AltiMAX RT43 (T-Speed Rated)
Initial Review: 60,000 miles on tires
January 25, 2014

I drive about 100k miles a year. These tires have 60k miles on them now. I drive and GPS for maps. This car has driven all over this region of the US. The General Altimax RT43 is EXCELLENT in every weather situation I have been in.

The tires look to have about 5/32 tread depth left all around. I rotate them every 10k. They are very comfortable, handle great, don't hydroplane, are great in the snow and ice. They are actually like snow tires, they don't lose traction in the snow, even with the miles I have on them. Absolutely the best budget tire I have ever had. I will take these over the Goodyear and Michelin tires I have had any day. I really recommend these tires to anyone in any climate.
