Initial Review, 5,000 Miles on Tires Surprised by this tire. Excellent hydroplane resistance. The steering wheel does not even budge when I hit a 2-4 inch deep puddle. Handles extremely well in very heavy that leaves an inch of standing water on the road. Happens a lot on the Gulf Coast. Dry traction is average and highway driving is okay. Nothing special there. Steering action with this tire is a little more "spongy" though. Likely due to the sidewall construction. Common with tires that focus on water traction. Noise is average for this type of tire. I have seen several complaints about noise. Remember the tread design, this is a tread designed to deal with water, the tire will produce more noise. Bottom line, no way around it. Overall this is a very good tire. Definitely consider if you have a passenger car and will be dealing with a lot rain. Read All Reviews for This Tire | Write a Review for This Tire | ||||
