Initial Review, 10,000 Miles on Tires Probably the best tires I've owned. These are comparable to Conti DWS I had in my previous car but at a better price. I replaced all 4 of the OEM ContiProContact's on my GTI and wow what a difference. Wet traction is very good and I always feel confident in the way my car handles now. Last week we had a huge blizzard in Mass and the roads were still a mess the next day but these tires handled it like a champ. I actually had to go up a steep hill with 2 tires on a snowbank because the road was too narrow and I actually got up without any problems.
