Follow-Up Review: 1,500 miles on tires

Tire has performed great in all this snow and ice we've had recently just as the last set did.
Initial Review: 325 miles on tires
December 17, 2012

This is the second set of Altimax HPs on my Charger as the first set went for 47,000 miles and still wasn't completely worn out. I was so pleased in every aspect with the first set, I never seriously considered any other tire except the Michelin MXV4. The Michelins, however, cost 30% more and are rated higher by only the slightest margin. Since I've had great experiences with General Altimaxs (4th set on 3 different cars) it was really a no-brainer. This past weekend I put about 200 highway miles on the tires in nonstop rain and they handled wonderfully just as they always have. Best tire for the money!
