Initial Review, 35,000 Miles on Tires These tires replaced the OEM tires. Big improvement over the stock tires!! My car came to life. I'm an aggressive driver so traction and handling were important to me. These tires worked great - first experience with General tires and I was very surprised. Performance started to deteriorate at 20k miles. Now with 35k miles the tires have lost their quiet ride. Tires have lost a great deal of their wet traction too - maybe 30-40% off their original grip. I'm starting to notice more hydroplaning in heavy rain on the highway. Front tires can easily be spun in dry conditions. Not looking forward to winter on these (last two winters were mild - before then tires were fine in snow). I am shopping for new tires now and am considering buying these again because of the value as a low mileage tire. I only drive 10-12k miles a year - great price for 3-4 years of driving.
