General Altimax HP
Follow-Up Review: 30,000 miles on tires
I am very disapointed in this tire. It caused my car to have a right pull that even when the alignment was put dead nuts to the manufacturer's spec was still there. When the winter tires were installed the pull went away.

The outside edges on these tires wear quicker than the inside. Right now I have 4/32 on the center and the inside and outside are worn bald and smooth. General has not support and blames the alignment.

These tires squeel horribly around tight curves even when taken at the posted speed.
Initial Review: 500 miles on tires
Hand them on the car a week and so far I am happy. The ride is smoother than the previous tire and MUCH quieter. The trade off is a little more 'numb' feeling in the steering, but that is expected on a tire in this category. I was suprised to find that there was not a rim lip guard on the tire in this size as I thought it was standard on most tires these days. I do feel that the tire is a little narrower than a standard 225 tire, looks small on the car.
