Follow-Up Review: 54,500 miles on tires
Now up to 54500 miles. Car has a fairly aggressive street alignment (0 toe rear, 1/32 toe out front, -2 front camber, +.5 rear camber and 2in drop on Sprint 2.0 springs.) Tires have held up well and are probably going to be done at 60k miles. The noise they make is atrocious (rotated every 5k miles) especially when they are cold. Pressure is kept at a constant 35psi front and rear. Never had an issue pushing the tires when dry. Had no real issues in the last snow/ice storm. Tires feel planted when pushed through a corner but have lost a lot of that ability by 50k miles but still have a suprising amount of grip and stability left.
Initial Review: 20,000 miles on tires
I normally drive pretty easily. These tires have done great over the past 20k miles. They are very stable and predictable when pushed and the wear has been amazing. I always rotate them at 5k miles. If I don't they seem to wear a bit unevenly until I rotate them again. My biggest complaint is they are LOUD! My old Satty has very little insulation anyway and the roar from the tires has gotten rather obnoxious as the tires have worn. My second complaint is they seem to where a bit uneven, as stated earlier. I'm going to try to re-balance them soon b/c they seem to have a slight vibration at speed.
