Initial Review, 5,000 Miles on Tires Have bought these from TireRack for three different cars--Toyota Matrix, Honda Civic, and Subaru Forester--and feel they are excellent value for daily use in snowly climates, like southern WI where we live. They are at their best right on the snow but work well enough for winter (only) driving in wet and mildly icy conditions. The soft rubber compounds wear noticeably more rapidly than ordinary all season tires, but they deliver good grip in snow and make winter driving that much less stressful. Don't know if the more expensive brands are significantly better or not, but find these have worked very well for our needs on three different vehicles.
