Initial Review, 10,000 Miles on Tires I bought a set of these tires for my wife's 09 Corolla. She travels approximately 100 miles a day for work and commutes on some pretty treacherous Maine winter roads. We decided to get the tires studded from tirerack as a lot of back roads in Maine are not salted so the snow packs making an "ice like" surface. Let me tell you, these tires turned the Corolla into a tank. I was amazed how how well they went in the snow. I was concerned about the noise of studs but at highway speed you can not tell they are studded. Most snow tires I have driven on are extremely loud but these are as quite as the summer tires. She put just over 10,000 miles on them last winter and I see no signs of wear yet. We are extremely pleased with these tires. When they wear out I will be buying another set.
