Initial Review, 6,000 Miles on Tires
June 22, 2012

I bought these dedicated snows (unstuded!) for my BMW as it was replacing my AWD Audi and I go to the mountain very often (multiple times a week to snowboard). So I needed something that I knew was going to rock in the snow and these did just that. I felt very stable and controlled in all conditions with these tires. These tires combined with the LSD in the Bimmer would allow me to climb straight up a tree if I felt the urge. The grip is fantastic in snow. With that being said, the dry leaves something to be desired. But you don't buy these tires for dry traction. These tires are super squishy, soft, and don't like corners. I would not recommend them for a year round tire. They are great in the rain. I have never had a problem in rainy Seattle with hydroplaning.

Over all I'd recommend them and would buy them again for snow tires. If they did this well I wonder how well they would do on an AWD vehicle. You will not be disappointed with the grip!
