Here in Vermont, I've had two occasions of 'real' winter driving with these tires this November: 1st, on granular/slushy/wet conditions and 2nd, in much deeper snow. These tires have superb grip on icy situations benefited by the sipes [sp?] incorporated in the tread design and they churn through deeper snow just fine. They are very quiet which was unexpected... even quieter than my summer rain tires. Steering is quick and secure giving the driver a solid confidence level. I have a set of four on both of my Hondas and can't say enough good things as to how satisfied I am. The price tag was very reasonable. I have been driving in severe winter conditions for most of my life, therefore I am a very experienced northern Vermont driver. I highly recommend these winter tires.
