Initial Review, 5,000 Miles on Tires
January 18, 2014

Purchased these from Tire Rack with studs after trying and not liking a set of Blizzaks last winter. FAR superior on ice, especially steering and braking, quieter at speed despite the studs, and much much better steering response than the Blizzaks. Quiet once above parking lot speeds, but can hear the clicking of the studs on dry pavement if the windows are down.

They aren't great in deep snow, or maybe my Mustang isn't once the snow gets above the bottom of the bumper, but on hard pack and ice they can't be beat. So long as I live in Alaska, I'll never go without studded tires in winter again. As a bonus, these seem to be wearing extremely well so it'll be a couple years before I have to think about buying another set!
