Initial Review, 2,000 Miles on Tires
December 26, 2013

This is my second set and a second car and I continue to be impressed. I was able to navigate in the all-seasons for about a week but I had never lit up the TCS light so frequently. After installing these the difference is amazing. You can still get yourself in trouble cornering, but the car is always firmly planted and hardly ever uses TCS or ABS. The biggest difference is in stopping, it stops as if it is normal pavement even in snow and ice. If I had bought steel wheels these would barely be more than the cost of my insurance deductible. I would highly recommend these especially if you are cost conscious since even an accident with a curb or non-vehicle can cost almost as much as these, and when averaged over the useful life of a tire and wheel set is far less costly than any incident. I can't say if the more expensive Blizzaks and such would be better but I would doubt they are worth double the price given these tires performance. This is a must have for anyone living in a snowy climate and daily gives me the confidence I can get where I need to go without regard to the weather. They truly liberate you from a constant fear of being stuck or sliding off the road that comes with winter driving.
