Vehicle: 2006 Dodge Charger Daytona RT
Miles Driven on Tires: 3,000
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Driving Condition: Combined Highway/City
Driving Style: Average
Follow-Up Review: 25,000 miles on tires
Tires lasted three winters and about 25,000 miles, although I did notice a decrease in rain, snow, and ice traction and stopping power during the third winter (not significant but a decline). Wet/rain performance decreasd with age more so than in snow/ice, more noticeable from a dead stop than under normal driving conditions. Overall I am very pleased with the performance and longevity of this tire. I am ordering another set tonight. Absolutely a great value for the price.
Initial Review: 3,000 miles on tires
Note - ratings are in consideration that this is a winter tire (e.g. the expected cornering stability and steering responsiveness is different for a snow tire than for a high performance summer tire).
A great winter tire. Had them mounted just before Thanksgiving and it has snowed what feels like every day since. Very happy with the performance and the added stoping power is impressive. My wife now prefers to drive my rear drive Charger in the snow instead of her front drive Caliber. Tread wear seems good but I've only got just over 3,000 miles on them so it's hard to say for certain. They do make some noise, but they are not overly loud - about what you would expect from an aggressive tread design with 13/32 of tread depth. I would definitely buys this tire again and confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a winter tire. A great value. My only regret is not having purchased a set for previous winters.
