Driving Condition: Combined Highway/City
Driving Style: Spirited
Follow-Up Review: 1,000 miles on tires
After using these tires an entire winter with near record snowfalls, I have to report that these tires were outstanding. Never had one problem, even when plowing through piles left by snowplows. At one point they took me through snow on an unplowed secondary road where the vehicle was pushing snow with the front end. Noise and handling on dry pavement is better than with the Firestone all-season radials peviously on the car. Great tires, great price, I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.
Initial Review: 300 miles on tires
Installed a set of four w/o studs. The following day we received a lake effect snowstorm with up to 12 of wet snow in places. Tires worked perfectly even on roads that hadn't been plowed. Since then, I've gone through two additional significant snowfalls with no problems at all. The tire noise on dry roads is not at all bad, about what I had before on Firestone FR380 all season radials. Dealer set inflation pressures higher than other tires, I have 39 lbs. in mine at present. Traction on ice is very good, even w/o the optional studs. I recommend these tires and would definitely buy them again.
